Another historical Italian brand opens to foreigners. The company Curiel srl, which includes the brands Raffaella Curiel and Gigliola Curiel, reached an agreement withthe Chinese group Redstone, who also controls the Jade brand, to establish a new company that will combine all the brands and the archive. The agreement was announced at a press conference in the late morning of today. Through the new company, Redstone will help strengthen Curiel Ltd., brand. The first workshop will be opened soon in Milan, in the quadrangle. New openings will perform in Shanghai, New York, Paris and London.
Born in the early 1960s, the brand Michelle Curiel presented in 1965 his first Pret-a-Porter collection in New York at Bergdorf Goodman. The brand, which since 1993has seen the entry of daughter Gigliola, is one of the names of tips of fashion shows and pret-à-couture in Rome.
More recently the story of jade. Founded by Rosanna Daolio in 2001 in Milan, jadewas acquired a few years later (2006) by the Chinese group RedStone, specializingin luxury brands (led in China, among others, Ferragamo, Valentino and Saint Laurent) and owned by the magnate Yizheng Zhao.
