From 9 to 28 July 2019 the rooms of Palazzo Morando | Costume Moda Immagine host the exhibition "Connecting Borders: Hangeul x Fashion Art".
The event promoted by the Municipality of Milan; by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Korea and the National Hangeul Museum of Seoul intends to promote, thanks to the participation of 73 fashion artists, the main Korean designers and many other emerging designers, as well as to expand the relations between the two countries.
The main theme of the exhibition is the relationship between the various artistic forms related to fashion and Hangeul, the Korean graphic writing language. The exhibition is divided into three sections: "Shape and Writing", "Style and Writing" and "Shape and Graphic". Emphasizing the graphic aspect of the design and using basic colors like red, blue, black and white, the works express the sensitivity and spirit of the Hangeul and its link with the world of fashion.
