Fendi opens a new production hub in Tuscany

To continue to extend its business, Fendi has presented a new production hub in Tuscany. The settlement project was presented to the citizens of Bagno a Ripoli, a municipality located in the province of Florence, and will see the construction of a new factory of the brand within what was once the Brunelleschi Furnace in Capannuccia.

Within the new structure, which is added to the main one in Rome, not only the manufacture of numerous articles for the fashion industry will be carried out, but there will also be some departments dedicated to the development and research of materials, as well as the formation of young and promising artisans.

With an area of ​​about 15,000 square meters, moreover, the headquarters will host a green area available to all citizens. This intervention will also be responsible for a change in the town planning plan.

In fact, in the area where it will arise, the construction of 250 dwellings was planned, in which there would have been numerous facilities for collective use.

Regarding its inauguration, 2020 was indicated. With the new settlement, finally, the offer of new opportunities is also estimated, which mainly concern the increase in employment in the reference area and the economic development of the same.
